Situated just a half mile from the Metropolitan apartments in Wilton Manors, Colohatchee Park is an 8.5-acre community park with 7 acres of mangrove preserves, an elevated walkway, playground, pavilion, basketball court, sand volleyball court, dog area, and more.
The already beautiful Colohatchee park will be seeing some enhancements in the near future, further adding to the incredible amenity that the park provides to Metropolitan residents.
By the end of 2016, upgrades should be completed on the wooden boardwalk that stretches through the mangroves and Middle River. Another enhancement includes expanding the dog park area, which could be finished as early as summer 2017.
