Situated in the heart of Wilton Manors, Metropolitan is surrounded by one of South Florida’s most innovative art scenes. Whether the F.A.T. Village Arts District or the Wilton Manors Art Expo, culture has continued to flourish throughout the area.
Now, the Metropolitan Art Park is bringing beautiful works to your front yard, with a new metal sculpture by Beth Ravitz. The piece will be constructed of aluminum and then powder coated in rich hues of purple, blue, and silver. As the centerpiece of the Metropolitan Art Park, the work will stand as a monument to the vibrant community of Wilton Manors.
Originally from New York, Ravitz has become a fixture in South Florida art. For over 15 years, she’s been transforming public places into strikingly beautiful sights. Known for using large scale and bold colors, Ravitz has mastered a number of disciplines, including ceramic, glass, metal, sculpture, printing, and painting.
