Next Act For Women interviewed Beth Ravitz, creator of the “Lotus” sculpture in the Metropolitan Art Park.
The interview detailed Ravitz’s rise as a professional artist. From growing up on Long Island, to starting a highly-successful print converter company, to selling the company at age 39 and pursuing her passion for creating art. Ravitz spent years learning about and working in numerous forms of art, before focusing primarily on creating and consulting on public arts projects.
Her work at the Metropolitan was also mentioned, accompanied by a picture of the powder-coated steel sculpture rising out of the fountain in the Metropolitan Art Park.
