Exhibiting at the NSU Art Museum until June 7th, Bellissima: Italy and High Fashion 1945-1968 highlights Italian high fashion from the mid-forties to the late sixties, with an emphasis on its relationship with Italian cinema and art in those years.
Curated in part by Stefano Tonchi, editor in chief of W magazine, the exhibition features some of Italy’s most coveted fashion pieces, as well as vintage jewelry, textile swatches, and historic photographs.
First presented last year in Rome, Bellissima is making its only appearance in America, making this the only chance for most Wilton Manors’ residents to view these wearable works of art.
Visit the NSU Art Museum before Bellissima is gone. Then, visit Metropolitan to rent an apartment in Wilton Manors’ cultural epicenter.
